Singer PTA Officers

Each year the PTA seeks volunteers to serve in leadership positions including:

President Elect – This position acts as the Vice President and works closely with the President to learn the job and performs the duties of the President in his/her absence. She or he helps with implementing PTA activities. This is a two-year position. This person will become President during the second year of his or her term. The President coordinates the work of the PTA officers and committees. Leads general meetings and executive committees meetings.

Treasurer Elect – This position acts as the aide to the Treasurer and performs the duties of the Treasurer in his/her absence. This person helps with implementing PTA activities and shadows the Treasurer. This is a two-year position. This person will become Treasurer during the second year of his or her term. The Treasurer creates and maintains the budget. Handles all incoming and outgoing funds.

Recording Secretary – This position takes notes at PTA meetings and maintains the PTA membership list. He or she helps with implementing PTA activities.

Corresponding Secretary – This position informs the Singer community of PTA activities via email, newsletter, and social media. He or she serves as the Recording Secretary in his/her absence and helps with implementing PTA activities.

All officers help out with PTA events and attend all monthly PTA meetings. As an officer, you can be involved in continuing to make the Singer community to be the best that it can be.
